Payments
From the Dashboard you can control which Payment type is on or off. We have two types of payment options - Cash or Card - and you need to have at least 1 to be active for your venue to be Live.
Cash payments are not taken at the same time as the customer orders, and requires you to collect this from them in person.
Card payments are pre-authorised when the order is placed, and charged when the order is accepted. The order process is only completed if the payment is successful.
You are able to configure Stripe as a payment gateway from the Dashboard, and it takes roughly 15 minutes to create an account and connect it to your QikServe Dashboard - see below.
However, we offer many more Payment Provider integrations. Please write to us at support@qikserve.com and we will let you know what is available and what details we need from you.
Refunds: Refunds are handled via the platform your payment provider sets you up with and not your QikServe Dashboard.
How to set up Stripe
On app.preoday.com go to Payments
Click on the toggle to the right of where it says 'Stripe'
Click 'Connect To Stripe' and you'll be taken to the Stripe accounts creation page
Enter your email address, set up a password and then click 'Create your Stripe account'
Once complete, you will receive an email to confirm your account. After that, you can start exploring your new Stripe dashboard

Turn on Cash
To turn on cash payments, go to the QikServe Dashboard.
On the left hand toolbar, select 'Payments'
Click on the toggle to the right of where it says 'Cash'
Changing the name of a Payment
On app.preoday.com go to Payments
Go to the Payment field you would like and in the 'Name' field adjust the name
