New Features
Out of Stock menu feature with own user permissions
Status title Menu Status title USer Permissions Instead of hiding an item where the item disappears off of the menu completely for the customer, you can now choose to show an item/modifier item as out of stock and set when you want it to become available again
Accessing this feature only (useful for order fulfilment staff who shouldn’t have access to edit the menu) can be given to any user by requesting from support@qikserve.com to have Advanced Permissions feature flag turned on and then selecting ‘Stock Manager’ for that user

Cancellation of Venues via Internal Tools
Status title internal When a venue is requested to cancelled or temporarily frozen, there is now an tool via Internal to automatically action these on the dashboard
Frozen- The users still have access to dashboard, including dashboard and analytics, but the dashboard stays in offline and can only be switched to Live mode via internal tools
Cancelled- All users are removed from the dashboard, the venue is removed from any channel it is part of, and dashboard is switched offline and can only be adjusted via internal tools
Delete all items and modifiers from a Channel/Venue via Internal Tools
Status title internal When old and out of use items and modifiers from previous menus (mostly POS) are creating confusion on the Dashboard we can wipe it clean avoiding the manual task for the customer
Any customer that is going POS integrated needs to remove all manually created items
V2 Sunmi Pro Devices supported with Preoday Printer
Status title PREODAY PRINTER The handheld mobile terminal with printer can now print order & pay orders via the Preoday Printer app
To action this download the Preoday Printer app from your V2 Sunmi Pro Device
When choosing the Emulation dropdown box select V2 Sunmi

Enable item description to be overwritten via Preoday dashboard with Tevalis integration
Status title Tevalis When you click Update External Menu on your Tevalis integrated dashboard, by default all item descriptions will be overwritten to replicate the product information on the Tevalis POS
This can be overwritten by adding overrideItemDescription=falseto the POS integration. To have this actioned please reach out to support@qikserve.com

Bug Fixes
Issue resolved whereby if Hide Manual Address Form feature flag is switched on users can proceed by selecting a Google Suggested address

orders.preoday.com now makes foghorn sound or pop-up box when tab is first logged in to
Status title orders.preoday.com This was related to a Chrome update, and has since been resolved. Previously users needed to login and click anywhere within the page to enable the audio notification functions
Still an outgoing challenge with Chrome that the user needs to interact with orders.preoday.com first (i.e. click anywhere on the screen) before notifications can be enabled
Customer specific promotions are now working on item level promotions
Issue resolved with Centegra-integrated menus whereby modifiers added to a menu section would break integration
Status title Centegra Delivery Instructions field now moved back as feature flag
Status title Feature flag The Delivery Instructions field was a feature flag that provided users with a space to add instructions for the driver (e.g. doorbell doesn’t work).
After an update this became default added to all Delivery fields, which caused issues with POS integrated solutions that didn’t support Delivery Instructions
The Delivery Instructions field has now been pushed back as a Feature Flag, to have it enabled please reach out to support@qikserve.com - this should only be enabled for standalone customers or those with a Dispatch Provider integration
